Dozens of people blocked traffic near the Bulgarian National Radio building in central Sofia, Tuesday, to protest against political censorship after the radio show 'Deconstruction' was forced off air by the Council for Electronic Media after being accused of a lack of pluralism, restricting freedom of speech and not "giving alternative opinions." The protesters held banners reading "Truth cannot be arrested" and "No to political censorship," while demanding the resignation of the Head of the Council for Electronic Media Georgi Lozanov. 'Deconstruction' host Peter Volgin was among the participants of the protest. Volgin labelled the accusations against the radio program as "most ridiculous," as the show was "funded from the state budget."
